  7. 3770LINKix provides full emulation of IBM 3776 and 3777 RJE (Remote Job Entry)
  8. stations to SCO UNIX-based systems in SNA networks. It communicates with IBM
  9. host Job Entry Subsystems, such as MVS/JES2, MVS/JES3, and VSE/POWER. A single
  10. 3770LINKix installation can be configured to provide multiple RJE stations. For
  11. each station, users get up to five simultaneous host sessions, plus support for
  12. up to nine printer or punch output devices. A full-screen console program
  13. allows users to view host messages while processing RJE jobs. Other features
  14. include printer forms control, SCS (SNA Character Stream) support, API
  15. (Application Program Interface) through a UNIX program or the UNIX scripting
  16. language, and a QLLC interface for SNA host connection through X.25 networks.
  17. CLEO's synchronous interface boards can feature onboard coprocessors and
  18. memory, which offload 3770 communications from the SCO UNIX system, freeing it
  19. for high-performance applications processing.
